This old Fab Tone distortion pedal (1990s) puts out a serious amount of gain. I used to record with it, often stacked with a boost or another dirt pedal to get some some unique textures. The EQ dials can get very extreme. Stack it with a Big Muff Op Amp if you want the classic Smashing Pumpkins fuzz sound. This is from the original Dano series, when they were larger and built like metal tanks, before they started making the little plastic ones.
NOTE: The clip for the 9v battery is missing (see pics), but if you only plan on powering it with a 9v adapter, then it's no problem.
Even after 30 years, I'm kind of surprised it still works great and looks younger than it is.
