For sale is a Crazy Tube Circuits "Venus" Tube Overdrive pedal in mint condition. It's from 2020 and was purchased directly from Crazy Tube Circuits less than a year ago. There are no obvious signs of wear, and it comes with the original packaging, protective stickers, and tags.
This amazing sounding pedal features a vacuum tube in the circuit. The Venus comes stock with an ECC832 tube, which is a unique tube featuring half of an ECC83 and half of an ECC82. This provides a tone similar to the classic overdrive it's based on, but with more clarity, string separation, and a wider soundstage.
You can also substitute other dual triode tube types like ECC83/12AX7, 5751, ECC81/12AT7, 12AY7, and ECC82/12AU7 to experiment with different sonic flavors. A bias knob allows you to adjust the tube bias/control the current passing through the tube cathodes, which can shape the texture of the overdrive/distortion.
