2004 50th-Anniversary Edition 1954 reissue Custom Shop Stratocaster.
This model was made in 2005 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1954 Stratocaster. It's a limited edition guitar produced by Fender’s Custom Shop. These Strat reissues were made only by Fender's Master Builders.
These are highly collectible because they’re very faithful recreations of the original 1954 Strat, down to materials, tooling, and even plastic parts. The pickups were hand-wound by Abigail Ybarra, who has a legendary status in Fender’s history.
Masterbuilt in the USA at the Fender Custom Shop by Masterbuilder Dennis Galuszka. Reliced 2-Tone Sunburst finish on nicely figured double-cut Ash body. Maple neck and 21-fret board with black dot inlays. Tone supplied by a trio of 1954 Strat singlecoils. Nickel and Chrome hardware. All original with no mods, breaks, or repairs. Typical surface scratches with age, but mostly relic marks from factory. Original Fender tremolo bar. Ships in a Fender Custom Shop hardshell case.
