All-Wood Intermediate Clarinet – Fully Repadded – Rare All-Wood Configuration
All clarinets are shipped fully insured and require a signature upon delivery for your protection.
This is an all-wood Buescher Aristocrat Bb clarinet, serial 74799, with its original matching wood bell and wood barrel. Most Aristocrat clarinets from this era were either all ABS or wood with plastic bell/barrel combinations. This example stands out as a rarer, fully wooden intermediate-level model made during the period when Buescher was producing higher-quality wooden clarinets before the line transitioned to plastic.

Body & Condition
Grenadilla wood body, including original wood bell and 66.5 mm wood barrel
Previously pinned crack in the top joint
Runs from the top of the joint to the top of the G# throat key
Repair is functional and stable; not the cleanest cosmetically
The crack repair partially compromised the stamped logo on the upper joint
No other cracks observed
Bore has been oiled inside and out
Typical cosmetic wear for its age: scratches, marks, handling wear
Structurally solid

Completely repadded with Lucien Deluxe double-bladder pads
Tenon corks replaced where necessary
Quiet/key corks replaced as needed
