Gibson Custom Shop 1964 ES-335 Reissue - Vintage Burst, VOS (2023) - FREE Shipping to the contiguous US only. Includes original hard shell case, COA, etc.
This '64 Gibson Custom Shop 335 reissue is in mint condition. There are no dents, dings, scrapes, buckle rash, major repairs and no modifications. Everything is factory original. There are two almost imperceptible finish imperfections that could not be picked up by my camera. One is located by the bridge pickup tone control knob. The other is a slight smudge or scuff in the finish on the back about the size of a dime.
The neck shows no dings or dents. The fretboard is perfect and the frets show no wear. There are no weird smells and the OHSC is also in mint condition with no weird smells.
There is no buzzing up and down the neck. I really like the set-up and only made some minor seasonal adjustments to the truss rod, which works perfect. It plays easy and sounds warm, round and breathy. Of course, being a 335, it can go seamlessly between smooth jazz tones and hardcore rock. Amazingly versatile.
