This has been one of my two "go-to" crashes for a couple years now. I played mostly in small venues where larger crash cymbals would be too much volume/cut, so this cymbal was the perfect crash for those settings.
It's the fullest, quickest, "in & out", 16" crash you can find. My bandmates always appreciated not having to suffer from excess stage or rehearsal space volume from harsh overtones. Just an amazing versatile crash overall. But don't let the size fool you, even in larger venues when overhead microphones were used, drummers in attendance I would talk with assumed this was actually larger than it was.
I had this crash paired with a 16" fast crash and together they were the perfect mixture of crashes you could ask for any gig. I am only selling because I have moved to the Paiste signature Traditional crashes as my main crashes and honestly, this crash is not too much different from it's more expensive "sibling".
