TC Electronic Nether Octaver — All-Analog Octave Pedal for Guitar/Bass

If you’re after heavy low-end girth or wild vintage synth-style tones, the Nether Octaver delivers — and does it with old-school analog grit and reliability.

What It Does:

Adds one or two octaves below your original signal to fatten up your tone with deep, warm sub-octave layers.

Lets you blend dry signal + octave-down layers — so you can dial in anything from a subtle thickening to a full-on bottom-heavy roar.

With aggressive settings, you can push into glitchy, synth-style territory — perfect for edgy, large-bodied bass / guitar tones or experimental textures.

Controls & Operation:

Three intuitive knobs: Octave 1, Octave 2, and Dry, letting you independently set how much of each octave (and dry signal) you want in your output.

True bypass switching ensures your tone stays untouched when the pedal is off — no tone-sucking or unwanted coloration.

Top-mounted jacks save pedalboard space.

Runs on a 9 V battery or DC adapter (adapter not included).

Build & Feel:

Built in a sturdy metal chassis, designed for rugged gigging and touring use.

Compact enough for any pedalboard — while delivering serious octaved tone.

Simple control layout — easy to dial in the sound fast, whether live or in the studio.

What It’s Great For:

Bassists looking to fatten up low-end or add a second “sub-bass” layer under their clean tone

Guitarists who want vintage, gritty octave effects — from subtle thickness to wild synth-like textures
