The Mark IV™ as the culmination of guitar amp evolution. This one is currently running 6L6 & EL34s in the outer sockets. Three Big Sounds …with individual control and total conviction: Rhythm 1 feels bouncy and shimmers with freshness. The Lead Mode is blistering high-gain focus. And Rhythm 2 is Marshall on steroids.. This mode alone can produce an alternate Clean, a purring Blues or a grinding Crunch.
All this and the elusive magic of Simul-Class™ (This is the secret sauce). Think of it as two different power amps working simul-taneously. One extracts the juice of Class A sweetness while the other delivers the high power punch of Pentode Class AB.
This is a wide Body Head (Width 22-½ inches) with a wide body - 12" cabinet loaded with the Boogie-branded, EVM 12L. (The ultimate pairing for Mark series amps IMHO.) Obviously, local pickup would be preferred as these items are stupid heavy so the shipping is going to be expensive.
Since part of the beauty of these amps is swapping tubes in the outer sockets, I'll throw in a pair of 6L6s, a pair of KT77s and an extra pair of EL34s. It's my last tube amp so I may as well let go of my tube stash.
I will also sell the head without the cabinet for $200 less. It might also reduce the shipping cost, although it's crazy heavy, so probably not by much.
