Here's a 1971 Gibson SG Standard in Ebony finish. Serial #967507. Super rare factory black finish! Here's the skinny: the guitar originally had a Bigsby on it, which has since been removed, with the holes being professionally filled. The work is great, and it's under the tailpiece....so you can't see it. The tuners have been replaced as well, with those extra holes being filled as well. The bridge has also been replaced. The rest...original and amazing! Last year of the big pickguard. First thing that stands out on the guitar, is how acoustically loud and resonant it is. You can hear and feel it on first strum. Always a great sign. Second, playability is exceptional! The neck is straight, and plays with low action down the entire length of the fingerboard. Tonally the guitar sounds equally fantastic, with two great sounding Pat No Sticker humbuckers. They'r strong, clear, and plenty articulate. The Lyre Vibrola works fantastic as well!! Rock n Roll machine right here with all the mojo. OHSC!
