Please Listen to the Video at the end of the Pictures to get an idea how good this guitar sounds. Based on a timely classic. This blackguard clone has an ash body, maple neck, and thin nitro lacquer finish. Loaded with gotoh hardware and mojotone broadcaster pickups. CTS potiemometers and switchcraft switch. Hard shell case included. The body is heavy relic, while the neck is meaty it feels good in the hand.
Neck: 6.6k
Bridge: 9.8k
Alnico 3 for the bridge and Alnico 5 for the neck, with vintage-spec 43 gauge plain enamel wire, a deep drawn chrome brass cover for the neck pickup, and a zinc plated baseplate for the bridge pickup. RWRP when combined for hum-cancelling in the middle position.
All original manufacturing methods are the same with handwound coils, and lightly wax potted coils. The neck pickup is clean and glassy with lots of power to balance right with the overwound bridge pickup. The bridge pickup is fat and clear when clean, and creamy when distorted. Stellar example of a true Broadcaster sound! Maker is located in Ohio. I bought it new from manufacturer, and am simply thinning out the heard, while getting back into humbucker guitars. The guitar is in the same condition as new when purchased not sure how to grade condition of a factory relic. Small crack in pick guard near the lower right hand side bottom screw, this is why I listed at current classification. Examine last picture to see 3/8 crack. Thanks for looking.
