This is a Noblet “N” Model Intermediate Wood Bb Clarinet, also known as the Noblet Model 40, featuring the small “N” logo used by Noblet during the 1980s.
These clarinets were manufactured by Leblanc in France and share the same design lineage as the professional Leblanc and Normandy models of the era.
The “N” or Model 40 was positioned as a pro-quality intermediate clarinet, offering beautiful tone, precise keywork, and outstanding craftsmanship — a true step-up instrument for advancing players.
This example is in very good condition for its age, with attractive grenadilla wood and only light cosmetic wear.

Bore: 14.9 mm (≈ 0.587″)
Barrel: Original @ 63.5 mm
Pads: Checked and replaced where necessary for proper sealing
Tenon Corks: Replaced where necessary; all fit snug
Keys: Nickel-plated, machine polished and hand finished
Wood: Grenadilla, oiled inside and out
Condition:
No cracks or previous crack repairs
Minor scratches, nicks, and blemishes from normal wear and tear
Likely made in the 1980s, as this logo style was phased out around 1990

Mouthpiece: Generic no-name mouthpiece (used)
Ligature: Generic metal ligature (no cap included)
Case: Plastic Vito case (functional, used condition, possibly original)
