Still, it retains the three wavetable oscillators (each capable of five synthesis modes), dual stereo filters, ample modulation sources, and power-packed FX section. Plus, the Iridium Core includes the same high-resolution display as the Iridium, giving you easy access to the synth’s numerous parameters. With three oscillators capable of operating in five different modes —Wavetable, Waveform, Resonator, Particle Generator, and Kernel Synthesis — the Iridium Core starts the signal chain with a bang! Like the Waldorf Iridium, the Iridium Core features Waldorf's proprietary wavetable oscillator, which produces dramatic, sweeping sound generation. Standard waveforms, such as sawtooth, triangle, and square, are available. Meanwhile, additional waveshaping options, including warp, let you dynamically morph between waveforms.
