This is a mint condition, year 2000, Ovation Balladeer. Made in the USA!
This guitar has extremely few hours of playing time, and the electronics are fully functional. It is a beautiful guitar with a black spruce top, that is in perfect condition, not a scratch or blemish.
I purchased this instrument back in 2001, and ended up going back to college and never played it much, as school and family occupied my time; its truly a closet classic. I'm now playing the classical guitar and don't have a use for this beautiful instrument.

Body:
- Solid spruce top
- Super shallow cutaway body style
- Lyrachord back and sides (a composite material)
- Oakleaf rosette
- Scalloped LX bracing
- Mahogany neck (soft V shape at top of neck)
- Rosewood fretboard
- 20 frets
- Dot diamond inlays
- Scale length: 25 1/4"
- Electronics:
-OP-24+C preamp (or OP-Pro preamp in some versions)
-Thinline pickup
- 3-band EQ (on Standard Balladeer Super Shallow Cutaway)
- Chrome tuning machines
- Rosewood bridge
I'm seeing these listed on various sites between $500 and $1,050, and Sweetwater has an average sell price of $705. The models I see on Reverb all appear to be in bad condition where this one is mint. If you enjoy a beautiful, USA made Ovation then consider this one a catch!
