This is in mint condition. I purchased this uke last year and had a Fishman piezo pickup professionally installed with a setup. The pickup was $120 and the install and setup was another $140. I also had the luthier add a strap button. Everything works flawlessly. The pickup is passive, so no battery is required, and it puts out more volume than the LR Baggs Anthem that's installed on my D18. I have this same pickup installed in my Martin TK1 uke.
Guitar is my main instrument, and when I gig I always have a set that's specific for ukulele. I actually prefer this Kala to the Martin. It's much more versatile and honestly just has a better timbre for most things. And if I want the tenor sound, I can just capo on the 5th fret.
Having said that, my wife got me the TK1 for my birthday a few years back, so I can't sell that one.
And I do need to sell one of them, as we're about to go down to one income.
This uke plays and sounds really great, and comes with the original soft case (which is also quite nice).
Check out my reviews here and on Reverb (Shannon Adkins) and buy with extreme confidence. As you'll see, I always describe my items accurately and ship within 1 business day. I don't sell on Reverb any longer because shipping rates are much better through Sweetwater. But all my reviews are still there.
