This is an extremely clean 50's ukulele with original case and two instruction/song books (also from the early 50's). I started playing ukulele as a toddler & I played in a band with a Martin Uke collector. This is the nicest 50's Style 1 Soprano I've seen. When I first bought it, I was concerned that it could be refinished. This is why I have included these black light photos. The finish is amazing and it has retained its dark stain because it has spent most its time in the case (away from sunlight). There are no cracks or repairs of any kind. The line on the bass side of the bridge is finish checking (definitely not a crack in the wood). This Uke plays great. Weather you're a collector or someone who wants a world class instrument. This is an excellent choice.
