I have owned well over a dozen Strat Plus guitars from the late 80's and early 90's. I find them to be consistently, very good instruments. This is the first one I've had in this gorgeous Caribbean Mist finish. I bought this guitar from an older collector. I found that most of his guitars had changed pickups. This guitar has a different Lace Sensor pickup in the bridge. The original pickup is in the case, along with a bunch of the original case candy. Like the majority of Fender instruments from the 90's, this one has a lot of clear coat checking on the back of the neck. If I were keeping this guitar, I would rub the back of the neck with some fine steel wool. Other than that, this guitar is in excellent condition.
