This is David Bromberg’s personal National Style O Dobro Resonator, and it’s a guitar that carries both musical and emotional weight. This resonator was gifted to David by his dear friends Phoebe Snow and producer David Rubinson, shortly after they recorded the track “Shaky Ground.”
You can actually hear this exact guitar on that song, where David plays it with his signature slide touch — soulful, gritty, and unmistakably his.
