Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 2 HH FR - Pitch Black is a very fast playing tele with all the tone options.
This guitar comes with the Charvel Hardshell case, all the paperwork of authenticity, allen wrenches and a brand new set of GHS Boomers 9-42.
From owning the least expensive Charvel to this top end Charvel, there is a difference in quality with a USA Charvel. Solid construction you can feel.
The quatersawn maple neck has been appreciably more stable than the MIM build I own.
Have never needed to adjust the neck...unlike my MIM.
Although the Factory Date on this guitar is Sept of 2022, I Bought this guitar May of last year, 2024, from Sweetwater as a Certified Open Box Value due to two small chips in the satin finish on the bottom edge of the guitar that is rarely seen.
I mean, if you had to pick places for a chip or two, that would be where you'd put them. :)
As pictured, one is by the input jack and the other is on the opposite side.
Aside from the two chips, this guitar is in excellent condition and has been well taken care of.
Even though this guitar rips, it has been played very little. In so many ways, it's still like new.
Brand new these go for $2,500.
Only selling it because my personal preferences are slightly different and could use the value of this beauty towards other band gear.
