This is a beautiful looking & sounding 2015 Alvarez AFA-1965 50th Anniversary model.
The last photo shows some checking to the finish, which I think just dad's character to guitar this age. Beyond that, it appears to be flawless.
The 1965 Series - Folk Guitar AFA-1965, designed and built to commemorate The 50th Anniversary of the Alvarez brand.
"The 1965" models each featuring tightly grained, seasoned woods, hand cut Abalone purfling, Acacia back and sides and our wonderful Shadowburst finish over the shimmering Solid A+ Sitka Spruce.
Featuring a solid headstock with vintage Grover tuning machines. Top Solid A+ Sitka Spruce. Top Finish- Shadowburst/Gloss
