This is a great mandolin that I purchased new in 1996. It was crafted with the specs of the great mandolins of Lloyd Loar. I have played it in several bluegrass bands through the years. It is in great shape and sounds great. There are no breaks, cracks, or repairs. It had a refret job by Larry Brown, a really good luthier in California.
There are a few small scratches as are unavoidable when playing it in bands for 25 years before I retired but only in the finish, not in the wood, and not real noticeable.
This mandolin was built in Boseman, MT. and signed by Bruce Weber.
The mandolin was always kept in the case when not playing it and in a smoke free home. It comes with the original rectangular hard-shell case which is in perfect condition as I always used a case cover on it. The mandolin is all original and comes with a tone guard.
