This is for two (ea) Presonus GTX44 Quad Gates. Very nice units, used in my studio for many years, mostly on drums... they actually sounded better on most drums than my Klark Teknik DN514.
Full disclosure: Last time I used these (before I went digital 10 years ago), I had a distortion malfunction on channel 1 of unit two. Couldn't figure it out at the time, and used another channel for the rest of the project. Then they went into storage.
I pulled these out last week and bench-tested all 8 channels... everything worked fine.
So, I guarantee 7 working gates, and I honestly believe all 8 are working fine, and that it was a wiring or microphone problem. But it's a way to get a good deal on a couple nice processors.
