This is a very RARE limited edition Gibson Custom Shop Slash signature Piezo Les Paul, and only 1 of 1200 made world-wide. (Model Name LPSLASHDTBNH1). This was designed to the legendary Guns ‘n' Roses guitarist’s specification, based upon a 1959 Les Paul, with an additional piezo in the bridge for some wild tones you simply cannot get from any other Les Paul. This is not a cheaper USA mass produced model we see in later signature models. This is the premium “Custom Shop” (#243 of the run, shipped in 2004) with the Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock, Custom Shop certificate of authenticity and original Custom Shop hard case. If you want the very best, this is it! Radically changed since Slash’s original signature model in the late ’90s, this Les Paul Electric Guitar focuses on utility over beauty (though it retains the latter in spades!) In addition to aged hardware, this LP has the Custom Authentic finish, a special treatment that gives it the patina of a gently-aged vintage guitar. 2 Slash specification Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II humbuckers provide a rip-roaring tone. The Fishman 'piezo' Powerbridge adds huge potential for tonal enhancement and sparkling rhythm parts. Slash custom profile neck for unbelievable speed and comfort. This is the 243rd example ever made. Weighs in at 8.6 lbs; it’s in exceptional condition and mostly unplayed. Grab it while you can.
