This is a stunning USA made Kramer Baretta 85 reissue, crafted by Gibson in Nashville in 2008. Built as a careful reproduction of the original 1985 Baretta, this guitar captures the feel and character of the original while adding thoughtful updates for improved quality and playability.
It features a vintage white finish with a subtle, beautiful mix of sparkle that really comes to life under the light. The body is solid maple, which, combined with its 10.06 pound weight, delivers incredible sustain, rich resonance, and tonal depth that you can feel with every note. The natural maple neck pairs perfectly with the rosewood fingerboard and eye catching abalone dot inlays. Unlike the original models, it does not have the allen bolts behind the locking nut, giving the back of the neck a clean and smooth appearance.
It is equipped with a Floyd Rose Original double locking tremolo system, offering superior tuning stability and precision. The tremolo studs are recessed into the body and use the stud and screw mounting system rather than the older wood screw style, providing greater strength and durability.
This guitar has never been played outside of my home. It has been lightly played, shows zero fret wear, and has been kept in a smoke-free environment. There are no scratches, dings, cracks, or blemishes of any kind. It is in true mint condition and only needs a fresh set of strings. Best of all, it is completely original.
Included is the original Kramer molded TKL hard case, which is form fitted to the guitar. The case even includes the original setup instructions provided by Kramer, a rare and thoughtful touch that adds to the overall value and completeness of this instrument.
