The SS-100 is a 100 watt with EL-34 power is a high gain tone monster, that's also capable of producing tones for many styles of music from blues to classic rock to prog, to metal and heavy hard rock styles, by simply adjusting the controls. The gorgeous sounding clean channel is great for a whole for a whole variety of clean sounds...from cleaner blues, rock, shimmering funk, rhythmic power pop, brite and/or with slight breakup country, and fat jazz styles...The amps 2nd channel has enough gain with complex rich harmonic detail, and gain variance, and 2 and 3 note chords sound very nice (nice note separation), simply by adjusting the gain and master controls...
