The EVH Wolfgang Special QM provides a pure music-making experience. Designed for high performance, its basswood body topped with an arched quilt maple top gives you robust, articulate tone. The graphite-reinforced maple neck is carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen's specifications so you'll fly up and down the baked maple fingerboard. Custom EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers are mounted directly to the body, delivering endless sustain for powerful rock riffs and searing leads. A Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo means you'll stay in tune even with extreme pitch changes. For arena-ready tone and playability, plug in the EVH Wolfgang Special QM.
The Wolfgang Special QM's basswood body is topped with an arched quilt maple top, which provides a tight, focused tone with plenty of brightness and cut. You'll get excellent note definition and clarity, perfect for complex chords and single-note runs. The maple top adds visual flair, too, with a 3D quilted pattern that catches the light.
The quartersawn maple neck is reinforced with graphite for rock-solid stability under changing weather conditions. Carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen's personal specifications, the neck has an ultra-fast satin urethane finish so your hand glides smoothly up and down the fingerboard. A 12" to 16" compound radius gives you effortless string bending in the higher frets.
A pair of EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups are mounted directly to the body, eliminating the tone-dampening effects of a pickguard. These hot humbuckers produce a high-output tone that's perfect for hard rock and metal, with rich lows, aggressive mids and detailed highs.
