This one-owner AKG EB P48 was used in a home studio, has very low hours, and is in perfect working order.
The 1980's EB model has four polar patterns that make it increadibly versatile for vocals, instruments, strings, or room ambiance, and has a storied history of having been used on countless classic recordings.
It includes a selectable 3-way pad switch with options of 0dB, -10dB, and -20dB. This allows the mic to handle high sound pressure levels effectively, making it ideal for loud sources like drums or guitar amplifiers without distortion.
The mic also features a 3-way high-pass filter with settings for flat, -12dB/octave at 75Hz, or -12dB/octave at 150Hz. This helps reduce low-frequency rumble or proximity effect, enhancing clarity for various applications.
