Offering this Fender Telecaster MIM (Manufactured 10/2008) for your playing enjoyment. I am selling because I have a new Fender Ultra II Telecaster coming and no room for both.
Very attractive guitar. Easy to play and is strung (intonated/setup) with a fresh set of Elixir Nanoweb .009-.042
Everything works as it should, it is ready to play at home or go on stage.
Full Fender spec sheet for this model and year is shown in the photos.
My scale shows the weight to be 8.54 pounds
Remarkably clean for its age, there may be some bumps or marks that don’t come across on camera.
Included is a Road Runner rectangular hard case for protecting the guitar. It is average condition.
The previous owner had a Seymour Duncan Vintage stack pickup ($100) put in the bridge position, and it is very nice. Great vintage tone with no hum!
STK – T1b - The Vintage Lead Stack delivers classic lead tone with all the bright Tele twang, but none of the traditional single coil noise. The highs have a nice sparkle; and the low end is snappy and articulate the way it should be.
The output is straight up vintage, making this a great choice for players who need to eliminate the hum, but without sacrificing true Tele lead tone.
Built by hand in Santa Barbara, CA, this pickup set uses alnico 5 rod magnets, a deep drawn chrome plated cover for the neck, 4-conductor lead wire, and is wax potted for squeal free operation.
Please, no trade offers or low-ball bids.
