Here is a unique one! This 1960s Harmony tenor guitar is in great shape for its age. A previous owner outfitted it with a single coil pickup in the neck position and wired it into a Teisco pickguard. The routing has led to two small cracks in the top, but they are stable and do not affect playability.
The result is a quirky, fun little oddball. I have it strung up with the D, G, B, and E strings from a d'Addario 10-46 set, and it rings right out.
You'll be sure to turn heads bringing this guitar to your next jam session or gig! It requires a new approach, much like what John Lennon used when moving from banjo to guitar. Losing the bottom two strings makes you see the fretboard a whole new way.
I will ship in the pictured soft case. This guitar has the usual wear you would expect from a 60 year old instrument, but it is perfectly playable and the frets have plenty of life left.
