Squier 40th Anniversary Jazzmaster Lake Placid Blue. These models are known to punch well above their weight in comparison to other Squier models. Everything works as the day it was brand new, this was an impulse buy as I wanted to try out the Jazzmaster style of guitars but I'm a Strat guy so I'm looking to let this go.
This guitar has had a recent restring and setup. Maintenance wise I added some loctite to the bridge posts as Jazzmasters are known for having some bridge post slipping after using the vibrato, with the lactate added the bridge works perfectly with no slippage experienced.
Highlights include the Jazzmaster vintage style electronics and control switching mechanisms, all gold hardware including a gold anodized pick guard, and 70s style headstock. The Lake Placid Blue finish also really shines.
**Update 1/20/25 - Reducing pricing by $25 as I found a scuff mark on the top of headstock, I have added a picture of the spot but this does not impact playability at all.
