Jenco orchestra chimes in good working condition. All hanger wires have been replaced to ensure every tube is a solid target when struck. There are no visible cracks on the tubes or the chrome caps.
The pedal mechanism is in solid working condition and dampens correctly, quietly, and completely when you step on it (reverse of modern instruments).
The wood damper box is solid, though it's missing the front dust cover panel. Sold as is, there are some small paint wear spots on the frame, no tarnish on the tubes but some slight blemishes on the back/top of some of the tubes which are tiny wrinkles from dents that were straightened before re-tuning by Century Mallet Instrument Service in 2015. Please notice the ORIGINAL NAMEPLATE is intact and includes the Manufacturers Serial # (See Photo).
I've played these chimes for concerts and in the pit orchestra for the Fox Theatre Production of Wicked and many other Broadway Shows with great results!
