Meet up in Daly City Internet Safe Exchange Zone at City Hall (located at 333 90th Street - located next to Daly City Police Department).
1982/1983 was a transition year for Gibson, where they were going back to more traditional specs. However, this example still has a maple neck but no more volute.
The frets are in good shape, show very light amount of wear.
All of its original hardware, including the Gibson branded tuning machines with the built-in winders, timshaw pickups (inked stamped) and the original plastic “chainsaw” hardshell case.
Pickup covers show some tarnishing.
Nut width 1 11/16"
All original pots and shielding plate.
All latches work on the chainsaw case and even has the original badge. No rips or stains in the lining of case.
Weight for guitar is 11.28 lbs.
The guitar has minor scuffs and dings (hard for camera to pick up and some shirt-button squiggles on the back but none that go through the mahogany.
