It was love at first sight, and it still is today. However, my musical tastes have evolved and I don't play her very much anymore.
The guitar was made in 2016, I believe 2017 was the last year for the tobacco burst finish.
AAA Sitka spruce top, (5) piece mahogany & maple neck. Dual graphite truss rods. Built in pre-amp w/tuner & (3) band EQ, I have included a fresh 9-volt battery. I have also upgraded the strap locks. The back is Ovations new ergonomic design so she won't slip out of your lap.
Setup was done professionally by a luthier from Nashville. The condition is excellent, there are no gouges or dings. The only scratches are surface from playing without a pick guard, I have done my best to photograph the pick scratches. The frets are bright and shiny. Fretboard wear is minimal.
Included is Ovations guitar case. I am also including a guitar stand, and (2) full sets of Elixir 11052 string packs, and (1) partial pack. I put on a new set of string on 10/15/2024.
She's a beautiful looking and sounding guitar with a lovely neck. With the exception of a few camping trips she has never left my home studio which is climate controlled.
I never thought I'd sell her but I just don't play her often enough and I'd rather play guitar than collect guitars.
