This cable transmits power from the DC socket to the 7-pin midi plug.
The power connector is standard guitar pedal barrel jack size.
Perfect for powering a midi foot controller from the Amp end of your rig. To do this you would plug the 5 Pin side into the MIDI input socket of the amp or FX unit, plug the A/C adaptor of the midi foot-controller into the socket provided, then plug the 7 pin end into your foot-switch. Your foot-switch will then be powered via its 'Phantom-Power' input so saves having to have a mains power source close by.
