Custom-made solid maple side panels for Yamaha Motif XF8. Will also fit Motif XS8. Will NOT fit Motif ES8 or Motif 8 "Classic" (first generation) or any 61-key or 76-key Motifs. The smaller Motifs have a completely different action and chassis design. See my other listings for Motif ES8 or S90 side panels.
These panels are the same thickness as the factory black, particle board XF8 side panels. The XS8 uses a different panel design; thicker with beveled sides, and these are more expensive to make. However, panels made for the XF8 will also fit the XS8, because they share the same chassis shape and bolt pattern, but these are not beveled like the factory XS8 panels, nor as thick. We can make panels to the shape of the XS8, but only at additional cost.
Each set is custom made upon receipt of a paid order, so please allow up to 7 days from time of order for them to be fabricated and made ready to ship. Rest assured that these will be made and shipped as quickly as possible, because Gear Exchange will not release payment to us until they receive a tracking number for the shipment.
This listing is, of course, for the side panels ONLY. The Motif XF8 shown is NOT included, but pictured so that you can see how great they look on the actual instrument. We are very proud of the fact that Justin Hayward's touring band has a pair of our maple side panels on their Motif XS8!
