This is brand new in the box, never opened and still sealed from the factory. It’s an excellent vocal mic and is tuned to work better for instruments when applied. I’d use this over a 57 any day. It’s more comparable to a Beta57, or a Sennheiser 945, but I find this one takes less work to get it dialed in EQ wise. Naturally, it sounds pretty good with no EQ on a guitar cab, snare, or live vocals.
