The UM70 S is a multipattern FET condenser with Gefell’s famous pvc-membrane M7 capsule. It is a direct descendant of the famous UM70 (also an M7 mic). The single-backplate, dual-diaphragm capsule design provides three switchable polar patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-8) controlled via a switch on the microphone body.
