Made from a beige colored Handset, this handmade circuit bent Telephone works as a functioning microphone with unique sonic characteristics. The microphone has been modified to include a volume knob which helps shape the lo-fi sound of the microphone and make it more useful for live performance or studio work. The microphone is in the earpiece and the volume knob is on the bottom along with the 1/4" Output Jack (TS).
The sweep of the pot is very usable and you can turn it for swell effects and better control in experimental situations or during live shows! It has a great lo-fi and vintage sound that emphasizes the mid-range. It's a great studio tool for adding layers to vocals, special FX, and getting unique sounds that inspire you and the vocalist in the booth. You can watch a demo on YT by searching "Vintage Telephone Microphone w/ Volume Knob"
Output is 1/4" Mono Jack compatible with instrument cables (TS). High quality Neutrik-Rean brand output jack and Alpha potentiometer were used. This mic is in near-mint condition- it has very few dings and the volume knob is purple! Check out the pictures to see it up close!
Telephone has been cleaned inside and out with isopropyl alcohol and will be sanitized again before shipping. This vintage analog telephone was used in past decades but it is in very good condition- there are scratches/dings on the handset as seen in the pictures. It's rare we get phones that are this color, so snatch this one up quick! It is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece of gear and the sound is unaffected by the finish- the pictured phone is the phone you will receive.
