2001 Epiphone Flying V (MIK, ’58 style)
I believe this guitar to be all stock components, but I am not the original owner so I can’t say. Serial number dates it to be a 2001 model, originating from the Unsung factory in Korea. The build & neck quality is excellent.
Frets are smaller than I’d like, but in excellent condition. The neck feels great. The carve is probably on the slim side of the spectrum, but not the slimmest Gibson-style carve I have felt. There is a tiny amount of tarnishing on the ferrule plate below the bridge; I tried to capture that in the photos.
I would say the condition of the guitar is “very good”.
There are a few of superficial scratches on the back, which I tried to capture on the photos. Also some superficial scratches on the headstock, and some even smaller blemishes on the bottom of the horns on each side of the bottom of the guitar, and two on the back of the neck. These I could not capture on photos – all I got was blur & reflections.
Ships in original high quality hardshell case, made in Canada by TKL.
Strung up with a fresh set of Ernie Ball Not Even Slinky, and tuned down a whole step (DGCFAD)
