An iconic guitar of legend and lore — it sings, it screams, it roars (sometimes all in one measure if your fingers are up for it...)
Single owner, well cared for, home use only.
Near as I can tell from online research, this baby was born December 8, 2000, likely in Nashville, TN.
It has the most minor of cosmetic imperfections of a guitar owned and played since September 2001. The most significant items of note are wear and a nick in the finish near the top strap button, owing to friction from the locking strap (which I'll include for good measure — use it, and you'll never have to ever see that nick.) Also, the frets were smoothed in 2019 around frets 5-10, under the G, B, and E strings. (Always used Ernie Ball Regular, 10-46, BTW, of which there is a new set just put on.)
Also in 2019, the bridge and tailpiece were replaced with genuine Gibson parts. (I'll include the originals.)
All work was performed by a skilled local luthier.
It really plays beautifully and expressively. Sadly, it is not a musical choice driving the decision to sell.
This is a killer instrument, deserving of a good home, and really priced to sell. (Please note, this is a Gibson Les Paul Custom, not a Gibson Custom Shop Custom.)
