Fender American Select Telecaster (Maple Neck, Chambered Ash) -- 2012 edition, Violin Burst on Flame Maple Top.
A very rare edition, the Select Series was a sort of 60th anniversary celebration thing for Fender, and involved a combination of standard higher-end Fender parts and workmanship, and some Custom Shop components and adjustment.
These were $2600 new. I haven't played mine much and it has never been gigged or exposed to smoke. I'm mostly a bassist, and when I play guitar it is usually acoustic or archtop.
This is probably my most beautiful electric guitar. It was a tough choice to put it up for sale as its on-paper specs way surpass what I am keeping, but in the end, I prefer the raunchy sound of my 70th anniversary single-pickup Esquire.
I have tried several types of strings on this guitar, and ultimately decided that old-school round core strings work the best to give it an ideal balance across the note range -- also true of my Strat and any other 25.5" scale electric guitar.
Pyramid strings last a long time, and even their modern hex core strings are a huge step up from the standard brands.
Note that this guitar has locking tuners. If you don't know how to use them, I can teach you and point you to online help.
I checked for current prices to see how to price mine. There is always wiggle room, but as I also will have this posted elsewhere, there may be quick action, as these aren't made anymore and are way better than current USA models in terms of parts, pickups, and workmanship, and people know that. It's essentially a cheap way to buy into Fender Custom Shop.

The hardshell case is special to the Select Series and is a bit better than the tolex cases made for other models.
As with most such Fender cases, the actual manufacturer of the case is G&G, and this is their full model designation:
