I am the original owner of this 2016 LP Studio Deluxe III and it is beautiful! It comes with Super 57 and Classic 57 humbucking pickups, which are mounted on a carved maple top with a mahogany back and weighs about 9lbs. The guitar was just setup by Black Hole Guitars in West Springfield, MA. At that time, we replaced the tone pots with 500k pots removing the coil split option and the boost circuit for clarity of tone yielding that lovely pure passive Les Paul tone we all know and love. (This mod could easily be reversed if you desire.)
This Les Paul Studio Deluxe features a traditional-spec SlimTaper '60s neck that offers a comfortable playing experience for which Les Paul models of that era are famous. The hardware is finished in chrome including Gibson's pioneering tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The guitar comes with the OHSC by Gibson as pictured. This is a wonderful guitar to play and has only been used in the studio, never gigged.
