Hearing the music of the Ides of March, Blood Sweat and Tears and Jimi Hendrix in the late 60's and early 70's lit my musical fire. It was that initial spark that helped me decide to become a musician.
Later, as my music career led me through a couple bands and subsequent original CD's, university audio departments, private recording studios, and various theaters, I rounded out my musical career with a solid set of audio technology skills. Today, working at Sweetwater, I regularly use this range of experiences to help my customers make the very best possible choices when selecting music and audio equipment.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

Lovely wife, two stepsons, two daughter-in-laws, six grandchildren, and as many dogs as I can handle.
I enjoy eating, motorcycles, traveling, running, adventure races and Warrior Dash.
The impossibility of it will make you great.
Largely my time at the University of Illinois School of Music/Champaign audio department and Private Studio in Urbana helped me refine my skills. The practical applications at Purdue's Elliott Hall, Loeb and Fowler Theaters and local music events solidified them.
Sweetwater is a constant learning process, there are some very talented and proficient people here! The professionalism bleeds over into life as well in the musicianship, engineering and being on time. Yes, some musicians can be on time!
The biggest gig I've ever played was sitting in with the Mother's Of Invention at Zappening 2000, in Peoria, IL.
I've recorded Eminem voice-overs on his cartoon series and was assistant engineer on Wilco's "Mermaid Avenue II". In the live arena, through Elliott Hall I've worked with Diamond Rio, Billy Ray Cyrus, Grand Funk, and more.
Excellent customer service, excellent product, excellent staff! I love that I can always reach a live person with questions. I always get individual treatment.

Absolutely amazed by the personal service on our order! It is obvious customer satisfaction is a priority. Your company would be the first place we would look for music related items. Great prices, great service and BTW, even the little touch of adding some candy made my kids very pleased! Thank you!
David from Renton, WA
I have to say it's the most personal order I've ever made from the pre-ship phone call, to the email, and finally the candy in the box. Thanks! I don't think I could beat the customer service even in a local shop

From the customer service call after my order, to e-mailing me a copy of the invoice, to the great price, free shipping and candy in the box...a pleasure!
