Facing the front of the 828, the voltage can be found on the right side of the unit.  It is a recessed red switch, that read either &#8220;115v&#8221; or &#8220;230v&#8221;.  North American users should set this switch to 115v.  Other users (european, asian, etc) should set this to 230v.<\/p>\n<p>     If the voltage swtich is set correctly, and the 828 still fails to power up, please contact Sweetwater Technical Support or MOTU Technical Support.<\/p>\n<p>    MOTU has determined that the original fuse installed in the 828 can sometimes be too sensitive, and blow prematurely.  MOTU will ship customers the newer, more tolerant fuse asap.  This fuse is user installable, and somewhat easy to replace.<br \/>    You&#8217;ll need two phillips head screwdrivers.  One medium sized, and one small.<br \/>1. Unplug all connections to the 828, especially the power cable.<br \/>2. There are two screws on each side of the 828, two on the front, two medium sized screws on the back, and four small screws around the mic inputs. Simply remove all screws and slide the top of the unit off. <br \/>3.
