You will need to make sure that the preferences are setup correctly to allow this. In FreeMIDI, set the preferences under the file menu to &#8220;Allow other Applications&#8221;. In OMS, make sure the &#8220;Run MIDI in background&#8221; option is off. This is located in the OMS MIDI setup option under the edit menu.
