No buttons respond, I can only power it off."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Try resetting the unit from the boot loader menu:<\/p>\n<p>1) turn the unit off.  <br \/>2) turn the unit on<br \/>3) after powering on, when the display shows &#8220;Waiting for scanner&#8221;, press the [Transpose] button. <br \/>4) this will bring you to what is called the Boot Loader Menu &#8211; on the screen you will see  :<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Install FlashROM&#8221; <br \/> via MIDI <\/p>\n<p>5) press NO (-) button once, you will see <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hard RESET&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>6) press Rhythm\/Metronome button to invoke. <br \/>7) press YES (+) button to confirm<\/p>\n<p>The unit will blink out as if it is turning off\/on again at which point it should be completely factory reset.<\/p>\n<p>If this fails to revive things, or if you cannot even enter this menu, then unit will need service.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[],"tags":[],"storecat":[],"itemids":[30284],"manufacturers":[33482],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v17.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Check out the When my SP3X powers, up all button lights flash, the LCD says &quot;waiting on scanner,&quot; then goes to a blank screen with flashing cursor.
