Sonnox software is licensed with iLok. That means to use it, you will need to connect its iLok license to your computer either on an iLok USB dongle<\/a> or through the iLok Cloud. If you don\u2019t already have an iLok account, you\u2019ll need to create one and install the iLok License Manager app. Follow the steps below to get started. If you already have an account, pass these steps and continue to Register Sonnox plugins<\/a><\/strong>. Learn more about iLok licensing in our iLok Quickstart Guide<\/a>.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n- Visit iLok\u2019s registration page<\/a> and complete the registration form. Take note of your User ID and password. <\/li>
- Open the iLok Account Activation email and click on the verification link.<\/li>
- Download and install the iLok License Manager.<\/li>
- Launch the iLok License Manager app and sign in to your iLok account.

Once an iLok account has been created, the next step is to register it to your account. You\u2019ll use your iLok login credentials to log into Sonnox. Follow these steps to register Sonnox plug-ins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
IMPORTANT: <\/strong>Don\u2019t forget to include the dashes when entering your activation key. If the dashes aren’t entered, you will receive an error stating that the activation key is too short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Read the license agreement and click I Agree.<\/strong><\/li>
- Enter the 14 digit activation key you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, and then click Submit<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

You can activate Sonnox plug-in licenses two ways; using an iLok USB dongle<\/a> or through the iLok cloud. If you plan on using the iLok cloud, make sure that the computer has a stable internet connection. Follow these steps to activate the license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n\n- Sign in to iLok License Manager and click the Available <\/strong>tab.<\/li>
- Locate your license and drag it to a connected iLok USB dongle. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n\n- Launch iLok License Manager and sign in.<\/li>

After the Sonnox plugin has been registered and activated, the last step is to download and install the software from your Sonnox account. After registration, Sonnox will send you an email with a unique download link. Alternatively, you can access the download through your account. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n\n- Open the verification email sent by Sonnox, and click the download link.
