If attempting to record from an analog device, ensure the line input on the MD deck is set to ANALOG, instead of DIGITAL.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. The source being recorded must be in a digital format to make a digital recording.<br \/>\n2. Verify that the digital sound source is powered on.<br \/>\n3. Verify that the recorder is connected properly to the sound source with a digital cable.<br \/>\n4.
