This is most likely due to the poorer quality of blank CD-R’s and CD-RW’s of most store bought disks. Try a higher quality blank CD-R. <\/p>\n
In the past few years the quality level of most blank CD\/DVD media has become poorer due to an emphasis on bringing down the cost of producing the disks. This results in an increase of errors in the burn process. The burner in the Roland workstations requires a higher quality disk, with fewer errors, to produce a professional level audio CD. Roland reccomends a high quality audio disk such as those made by Taiyo Yuden, Phillips, or Kodak. Disks available at most office supply stores and chain electronic stores such as Verbatim, Maxell, and Memorex are not considered high quality disks.
