Like many music and PC products, there may be times when your E-MU Xboard does not perform as expected or develops erratic behavior. Many times this can be corrected by doing a quick UART reset.<\/p>\n
Symptoms:<\/p>\n
Controller knob values jump or skip a range of values.
Controller does not always reach min or max values.
Xboard takes forever to start up.
Xboard appears to be dead
Xboard has blank or partially lit segments in the LED display.<\/p>\n
To reset a xboard do the following steps.
Press and hold down the “Home”, “Edit”, “Patch Select” and “MIDI Channel” buttons together at the same time. LED’s on the front panel will light up briefly in sequence, then the display will scroll with the message of either “Good” or “Bad”. If you get a result of Bad, try the button press sequence again. If after three times you do not get a result of Good, then your Xboard is defective and you will need to contact E-MU support or Sweetwater Tech Support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[],"tags":[34253,36256],"storecat":[],"itemids":[32873,32874],"manufacturers":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n
