{"id":31516,"date":"2007-04-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-04-26T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/?p=31516"},"modified":"2007-05-01T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2007-05-01T00:00:00","slug":"peak-pro-52-soundsoap-pro-114-without-usb-key","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/peak-pro-52-soundsoap-pro-114-without-usb-key\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I use Peak Pro 5.2 and SoundSoap Pro 1.1.4 without my USB key?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BIAS has implemented a web-based &#8220;challenge\/response&#8221; system that can be used to authorize Peak Pro 5.2 and SoundSoap Pro 1.1.4 with out the USB protection key.<\/p>\n<p>Peak Pro 5.x and SoundSoap Pro 1.x users will be able to authorize their computer using our new serial number-based authorization system introduced into Peak Pro 5.2.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure you have updated your version of Peak Pro 5.x to Peak Pro 5.2 and\/or your version of SoundSoap Pro 1.x to SoundSoap Pro 1.1.4. These free updates are available on the BIAS updates page:<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.bias-inc.com\/downloads\/updates\/<\/p>\n<p>This is a free update to all Peak Pro 5.x and SoundSoap Pro 1.x customers.<\/p>\n<p>After installing the Peak Pro 5.2 update &#8211; simply remove the USB key, and launch Peak 5.2.
